Our traditional cast iron staircases are available as a spiral or straight stair arrangement and perfectly match Victorian hand made designs.
Available in four sizes in diameter, the cast iron spiral staircases are suitable for internal and external access stairs and fire escape use. Straight cast iron stairs can be designed to exact customer requirements and our technical team are on hand to assist with specification and design.
Each Albion Design cast iron staircase can be fully customised with a dedicated range of handrail, stringer and balustrading options to suit any situation and to complement any colour scheme. The standard finish to all components is primer paint for final painting on site by the customer.
Model N1200 CI
A small access stair for serving areas such as lofts, balconies, gardens and roof terraces the Model N1200 CI measures 1220mm in diameter with a 481mm clear tread width. A relaxation of Building Control regulations will be required to use this particular stair.
Model A1500 CI
Measuring 1530mm in diameter with a 636mm clear tread width, the Model A1500 CI provides a more comfortable stair for use to access a single room in a domestic application.
Model B1800 CI
At 1858mm in diameter, with an 800mm clear tread width, the Model B1800 CI provides a more generous width of stair being suitable for use in a house serving more than one bedroom.
Model C2100 CI
The largest cast iron stair designed by Albion Design, the Model C2100 CI with an 800mm clear tread width between the inner and outer handrails, is a semi public stair for use by up to 50 people and can also be used as a larger fire escape.
All stairs are available rising clockwise or anti-clockwise and are suitable for multi-storey applications.
